Grown up?
How to navigate the curisoity of the new girlfriend?
Its a developing situation and has me at my most 'grown-up' whereas my primal reaction is that of a baby throwing toys at a velocity that people feel.
The grown-up in me realises what this is, a woman navigating an avoidant, but perhaps she hasn't noticed that about him yet.
Perhaps the honeymoon period still exists. Perhaps this is none of my business.
But it keeps landing on my to-do list.
He is elusive, I understand her curiosity, I also understand a woman who refuses to see what actually is.
Grown-up does not always come easy for me as my job title might tell you it should.
Grown-up is yet another performance piece for me, hurt me, I hurt back.
